Advice

A)    The best advice I have ever been told is to stay away from drugs. I have watched plenty of friends go down that path, including family. I personally have seen my friends doing drugs, and it certainly is not a path that I would choose to go down. I have lost a family member due to a physical fight over drugs. It would of made a huge difference if someone told him this advice before he went down that path. Perhaps then he would of listened and he would still be here today. When people do drugs, they honestly start to lose their minds and if you try to give them advice, it goes in one here and out the other.
B)    The best advice that I have ever given anyone is to not drink and drive. One night I was out and a couple of my friends were drunk and they were going to drive somewhere to get food or something. They kept saying they were going to drive and they wouldn’t listen to me. They could barely even walk but I finally managed to convince them not to. I could have saved their lives that night. That is probably the best advice I have given anyone in a while.

FLARE Program

I enjoyed spending time with the FLARE program. It was really interesting to see how they acted and certain habits that a few of the students had. It was neat to see how Jason acted with his "Lizzy". It was also neat to see the objects that they used such as the cloth that they put around one of the students that held his arms around his body. At first I wasn't sure about going in to visit the students. I was unsure of how they were going to act. Now I feel at ease whenever I see them.
